Then the struggle began to capture that emotion on the canvas.

Their time together is drawing to an end. The bars behind his head speak of the constraints of the human body in all it's joy and limitations. In her ear is an earring from her youth - she is still the same person who loved him when they were young - and always will.
My stunningly beautiful mother-in-law passed away in 2010. Amongst her things I found a tiny torn photocopy of an old photo of her as a baby with her mother...
